Do you know those hanging archive files? When you attach a piece of our Frog Spine Binding Tape (the name comes from the resemblance to a frog's webbed feet) then papers are less likely to slip out of those filing systems.
For a long time we have been supplying this specialty tape to not only manufacturers of the archival filing folders, but also to general producers of filing systems.
The PLANAX Frog Spine Binding Tape is made of a fabric like material with a brushed linen finish. We then coat the edges of one side of it with a hot-melt adhesive. However, the middle of the tape is left free of adhesive.
Then, our customers use a special machine to fold the tape into this "frog" form and apply it to the archive folders. This allows for the folders to handle thicker documents and ensure that everything stays inside.
Typically this product is ordered in a natural color or in black. However, we can also produce more colors upon request such as white, blue, green, red, gray, and dark blue.
